Dr. Jacob Roach

Dr. Hernan Favetto was born and raised in Argentina where he attended veterinary school at the National University of Central Buenos Aires province. When Dr. Favetto first came to the United States in 2001, he found himself at Kansas State University, where he completed an internship in livestock medicine. After many memories in Kansas, including the birth of his twin boys, Dr. Favetto decided to move to California in order to pursue a residency in livestock medicine at UC Davis where he gained valuable surgical experience and taught veterinary students. “I enjoy helping fellow animal lovers by providing them with quality care for their pets. I believe that it is especially important to provide exceptional care and assistance to owners in the final, difficult moments when their beloved pets need them most.” When Dr. Favetto is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and caring for his many animals on his ranch. As a family, the Favettos enjoy hiking, road trips, and working on their classic truck. Dr. Favetto offer services in English and Spanish.  

Dr. Hernan Favetto

Dr. Jacob Roach has practiced veterinary medicine for 20 years in the Central Valley, since his graduation from Veterinary School in 2006 from Washington State University. Dr. Roach grew up in southern Idaho near Boise. He grew up in an agricultural community, his grandfather had 180 acres of land, this included row crop and pasture land, on which he grew up. Dr. Roach has always enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking and working on his 5 acre ranch where he raises beef cattle, chickens, and goats. Dr. Roach has been married to his wife Angela for 13 years and in those 13 years they have two children, Levi (12) and Emilia (10). Bulldogs have been a huge part of their lives together and over the years they’ve had 4 English Bulldogs and 1 French Bulldog. Dr. Roach is very dedicated to providing the pets and pet owners of the Central Valley with the opportunity for a more peaceful and personal environment for their final moments together. “I’m very proud to continue Dr. Brinson’s mission to help pets and people of the Central Valley who are in need of at-home euthanasia and cremation services.”

Dr. Jennifer Elmahdy

Dr. Jennifer Elmahdy has been a veterinarian in the Central Valley for over 20 years. She completed veterinary school at UC Davis with  a specialty in both small and large animals. Originally from the Bay Area, her love of animals grew into her life’s work caring for animals, large and small. Dr. Elmahdy treats pets with respect and compassion, at all stages of life.

Dr. Jennifer Elmahdy enjoys long walks and pool swims with her dog, Angus. Jennifer also has two cats she rescued from local farms. She enjoys camping, traveling and knitting with friends and family.

Dr. Jenelle Pawluk

Dr. Jenelle Pawluk is a Southern California native, who relocated to the Central Valley following her graduation from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Since her graduation, she has been working as a livestock veterinarian providing care for cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. As a veterinarian for The Peaceful Journey, Dr. Pawluk strives to provide the best end-of-life care and experience to pets and pet parents. Dr. Pawluk shares her life with her three fur babies, her energetic Collie-mix named Finn, her rambunctious cat named Six, and her sassy cockatiel named Tommy. Outside of work, Dr. Pawluk enjoys staying active by going fishing, hiking, or lifting weights, or she can be found relaxing at home with a cup of coffee and a good book. Dr. Pawluk provides services in English and Spanish and she is honored to serve you and your pets.
